PINless non-Visa debit card transactions Please be advised that School District 3 FCU has enabled non-VISA debit transaction processing that does not always require that all such transactions be authenticated with your PIN (personal identification number). These transactions are enabled through the ACCEL/EXCHANGE & COOP networks, which are associated with your SD3FCU Visa debit card. Examples of these types of transactions are listed below: A purchase made at a merchant through the VISA network, where the amount is under $25, does not require a signature or PIN for authentication purposes. The ACCEL/EXCHANGE & COOP networks now also allow PINless bill-payment debits & credits for specific merchant types such as utility, property management & government payments. Please note that certain provisions of our cardholder agreement do not apply to such non-VISA transactions. In short, waiving the signature & PIN requirements will provide additional convenience & more low risk transactions for you, our valued members. |

If there is a pandemic this year we have developed a plan to continue to provide member services. If wide-spread illness does occur we may have to close our lobby but we will keep the drive up open as long as we have an able body. Using the many electronic services we offer including debit card, online account management, audio teller, bill payer, night depository and free ATMs you have access to your funds. We will keep you up to date with postings in our office and on our web site. Rest assured we are prepared for the worst with your best interests in mind. |
